and to inspire a fuller prayer life to build a deeper relationship with God.

Catechist Workshop: Prayer-ful Catechists
John Collins, a consultant from Sadlier publications led a catechist workshop at Holy Family on March 21. One of the many wonderful ideas John shared is when praying as a class to pray especially for homebound and sick parishioners by name.  The children in John's 2nd grade religious ed class were encouraged to make cards to uplift the spirits of those who are sick and homebound.  Those who are marked in yellow on John’s list had passed away over the course of the year.  The children learn about sympathy by sending cards to the families of those who have passed away. Truly a way to model discipleship!
